Practice carrying your cross alone because some situations will warrant it. And DON'T BE ASHAMED OF CARRYING YOUR CROSS, IT IS THE PRICE FOR YOUR RESURRECTION. Every resurrection is preceded by a crucifixion: and there can be no crucifixion without a cross. Let the scar that came from carrying your cross be a badge of honor and carry it with pride knowing that there is a crown that awaits you and I can guarantee you, you will be victorious if you endured in Jesus' name.
